17-Year Old Bug Found!

January 21, 2010

So, it looks like Microsoft has identified yet another exploit in the Windows ecosystem. As the title of this post suggest, this bug has been around a long time. By this time, this bug has remained in all 32-Bit operating systems, Which includes the latest OS, Windows 7, as being the affected software. Luckily, the Redmond giant has issued another advisory for its consumers about the potential of hackers hijacking their computers. Also if you are running a 64-Bit OS, you will not be affected. There is a workaround to fix this issue. It is meant to tie the user over until a security update gets pushed through.
